Dear Brothers and Sisters of Local 16,

With the establishment of the Northwest Regional Council on June 1, 2020, there have been some changes on how dues are paid.

• Checks, Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks or Recurring bill pay through your bank:
  • Make payable to: NWRC (Northwest Regional Council)
  • Mail or drop off at:
    • SMART Local 16, 2379 NE 178^th Ave, Portland, OR 97230
  • Include: Members Full Name, IA Number or Last 4 of their SSN

• Payments from IBEW, National Pension, or NWCCU:
  • This is still an option; no changes are necessary if you are using one of these.  Please note: IBEW does charge a $1.00 processing fee to send the payment to Local 16.

• Production Companies:
  • If your dues are currently paid via your employer, this does not change.

• Credit Card payments over the phone:
  • You are allowed to call Local 16 to pay your dues over the phone. There will be a $5.00 convenience fee per transaction.

• Online payment through NWRC.PayDues.io
  • There will be a service fee of 2.9% + $1.55 to use this option. This link is located under Members > Pay Dues @ www.smw16.org. You must have your IA Number to register for Pay Dues.

• Automatic Dues Withdrawal:
  • This is done through the Automatic Clearing House (ACH).  You must complete the ACH Authorization form and mail it to the NWRC Office along with a voided check to sign up for this method.  You are also able to return the form and voided check to the Local 16 Office and we will send it to NWRC.
  • The form must reach NWRC by the first of the month to be signed up for the current month.
  • Payments are processed on the 10^th of each month.

All receipts are processed through the local office. If you have any questions, please call the Local office at 503-254-0123.

NO CASH will be accepted for any purpose at the Local 16’s Office.

Credit Cards or Checks are only method of payment that will be accepted at the office.
